This gallery presents archival photographs of Usha’s paintings from her Mumbai studio, where she worked from 1964 to 1975. During this period, more than 120 of her works were exhibited in prominent galleries in Mumbai and New Delhi. Many of these paintings were subsequently acquired by individual buyers, private collectors, and public collections. These photographs therefore remain the only record of an important period in the artist’s development.
